Warranty Coverage
Product will be free from defects in material and workmanship during the Warranty Period under normal use. Applies to AC and/or DC powered products including communication interfaces: NB-IoT, LoRa, LoRaWAN, Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G.
Petit.iot will (at sole discretion): repair, replace with new/refurbished, or issue credit note (not exceeding original purchase price). Repaired/replaced Product warranted for remainder of original Warranty Period or 90 days from repair, whichever is longer.
Not Covered by Warranty
- Batteries (consumable items — all types)
- Communication SIM cards, eSIM profiles, data plans, telecommunication subscriptions
- Tools, software utilities, configuration cables, third-party accessories
- Consumable/wear-and-tear parts unless manufacturing fault proven
Warranty Exclusions
Products subjected to any of the following are NOT covered:
- Opening, disassembling, tampering, or modifying the Product
- Unauthorized repairs of electronic parts, circuitry, antenna, or components
- Removal or defacement of serial numbers, barcode labels, warranty labels
- Incorrect installation, wiring, commissioning, or configuration
- Misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, dropping, impact, or improper handling
- Exposure to unsuitable environmental conditions
- Electrical faults (incorrect supply voltage, power surges, lightning, etc.)
- Use with non-approved accessories or third-party devices
- Unauthorized software or firmware
- Acts of God, force majeure
Warranty Service Process
- Contact Petit.iot or Authorized Service Provider within Warranty Period
- Obtain return instructions or RMA number
- Petit.iot inspects and tests the Product
- If accepted: repair, replace, or credit note
- If not covered: paid repair offered at Customer's cost
